Climate

The climatic conditions are in every way favorable. In January and February considerable discomfort is experienced from snow, rain and excessive cold, while from the middle of June to the middle of August, the heat , though not calling for the use of punkas, is quite sufficient to make its discomfort felt. For the rest of the year the climate is in every way excellent, and indeed its admirers call it ideal. The winter is cold, clear and frosty, while the summer though attended by frequent rainfall is devoid of that perpetual rain and mist which detract so much from the pleasure of many hill stations.
